BAD BOY ARTIST FRENCH MONTANA RELEASES NEW SINGLE “FREAKS” FEATURING NICKI MINAJ

DEBUT ALBUM EXCUSE MY FRENCH AVAILABLE MAY 21; PRE-SALE APRIL 9

“EXCUSE MY FRENCH” NATIONWIDE TOUR BEGINS FEB. 26

(NEW YORK, NY – February 14, 2013) – Bad Boy/Interscope recording artist French Montana has no shortage of ammo for partygoers. Following the success of his RIAA certified Gold single, “Pop That,” and follow-up record, “Marble Floors,” the New York rapper has now teamed up with megastar Nicki Minaj for the new club anthem, “Freaks.” Available today on all digital retailers, “Freaks” serves as the third single from French Montana’s forthcoming, heavily anticipated full length debut album, Excuse My French, in stores May 21st.

The Caribbean influenced track, produced by Grammy Award winning producer Rico Love (Beyoncé/Usher/Rick Ross), features French Montana rapping alongside recording artist Nicki Minaj (Young Money Entertainment/Cash Money Records). Infused with a 90s reggae feel, the track offers a touch of nostalgia, while managing to retain that genuine French Montana sound. Impacting radio on May 12th, “Freaks” was made available for purchase on Valentine’s Day, February 14th.

Leading up to the release of Excuse My French, French Montana will embark on a duly titled nationwide headlining tour which kicks off on February 26th in Washington, DC. The tour, already sold out in numerous cities, will zigzag throughout the U.S., before concluding in Los Angeles, CA at the House of Blues on March 26th.

Executive produced by Sean “Diddy” Combs and Rick Ross and co-executive produced by Harve Pierre, Excuse My French, will be released through Bad Boy/Interscope on May 21—the birthday of iconic New York City, Bad Boy recording artist Notorious B.I.G. The album, which has been included in several “Most Anticipated Albums” lists from Complex to Billboard, will be available for pre-sale via digital retailers beginning April 9th.
